PRODUCTION

The development and research took place in Austria, the production takes place in Germany according to positive granted patents.

DELIVERY

The AIRFFECT self-service dryer is delivered by a German forwarding agent on a Euro pallet, protected by a full wooden crate.

  • Ongoing pre-production of the AIRFFECT self-service dryers allows immediate delivery. Delivery time is approximately 3 working days after receipt of order but may vary outside the EU.

  • Each AIRFFECT self-service dryer is checked for faults or damage before delivery. A test run of several hours ensures a functional system.

SETUP

Pay attention to the AIRFFECT positioning instructions and mount on a solid surface.

  • The AIRFFECT housing must be fixed to a solid surface using three internal fixing pins.

  • Sink the lower tube of the swivel arm into the housing, screw in the internal fixing screw and connect the upper swivel arm to the swivel joint. Attach the hose with the pre-assembled drying lance to the swivel arm.

INSTALLATION

A pre-fabricated and tested system guarantees immediate use in your wash area.

  • After successful installation of the AIRFFECT, the power supply is established by connecting the prefabricated CEE power connection.

  • Due to the high-quality workmanship and the absence of additional components such as chemicals and dirt containers, maintenance is very low. The AIRFFECT system should be inspected daily to ensure correct operation.

REPLACING THE NOZZLE ATTACHMENT

Remove the nozzle attachment by unscrewing the two screws. Fit the new nozzle attachment. Check that the connection is flush, especially the centre recess of the nozzle bars in the recessed nozzle attachment. Refit the new screws and circlip.

  • The enormous air pressure in the nozzle area pushes the nozzle shells away from each other. The nozzle attachment is made of aluminium and ensures that the nozzle shells remain at a distance of 5.05 mm. This ensures a perfect drying result.

  • The nozzle shells are coated with silicone. This protects the vehicle paint or other surfaces on contact.

REPLACING THE DRYING LANCE

Loosen the hose guard and clamp on the swivel. Pull off the hose with the hose protector. Connect the new drying lance to the hose opening on the swivel side. The hose and hose guard must be fitted under the clamp. Tighten the clamp and cover with the protective tape.

  • The extremely high air speed in the nozzle area pushes the AIRFFECT lance away from the hose with incredible force. 100% fixation in the swivel area is only possible with the ring clamp.

  • Do not make any screw connections in the area of the nozzle shells or handle shells.

CLEANING THE AIR FILTER

Extend the switch box by pressing the release pin. Loosen and remove the star handle screw. Remove the air filter system. If it is very dirty, blow it out with compressed air or vacuum it. Do not switch on the system without a filter.

  • If the boom is difficult to move, it may be because it is dirty or because the screws on the swivel joint are too tight.

  • If the boom is difficult to move, clean it immediately as the air tube can be damaged during use.

CLEANING THE SWIVEL ARM

If it is difficult to move, remove the upper part of the swivel arm and wipe out the inside of the swivel joint. Wipe the outside of the upper part of the boom that is inserted into the swivel joint and reconnect it to the swivel joint.

  • If the arm is difficult to move, this may be due to dirt or tightening of the swivel joint screws.
  • If the boom is difficult to move, it must be cleaned immediately as the air tube can be damaged during use.

CLEAN AIRFFECT SYSTEM

Due to 100% stainless steel processing, implementation of the highest quality electrical components, and exclusively German-Austrian manufacturing standards, only superficial cleaning of the interior is recommended. Be sure to turn off the power supply before each cleaning.

  • The power supply must always be switched off during cleaning.

  • Dirt, dust and anything else that collects on the inside of the AIRFFECT over time must be removed. CAUTION: Never remove the air filter during interior cleaning.
